A Nice Little Rant

Someone posted a nice rant about the term 'magic nerds' to about.com's Magic and Illusion section.

I personally like the term 'nerd' and use it in reference to myself on a regular basis. I think it sort of denotes a kind of 'coolness' in regards to something a bit obscure. Given, this naturally implies that it's a subject that also kind of inaccessible, so why would this apply to magic? I tend to think that magic is very universally appealing...
