John Alexander has been performing magic ever since the age of 9 and has been in the business professionally for over 30 years. John used to be a high school math teacher and while he was there he started the Hillsborough Association of Magicians (H.A.M.) ( he was a real ham and this name seemed to fit!) It was a high school magic club that produced an annual magic showcase. He taught and performed magic with these students for 25 years.
During that time he also performed at nightclubs in New York with a spectacular show with live doves. He had a 6 days a week gig at the Club Ibis. From humble roots John soon became a full time magician performing and dazzling wherever he went. Jon’s magic includes corporate events, special events and much more. He can customize a show to fit your own personal needs. Some of the many shows John has customized in the past were an American Indian Magical Experience and a Vampire Act. These shows have been performed at various corporate and magic conventions across the nation. John is famous for his fabulous show: Abra-ca-shoop shoop: Bring back that ol’ time magic!
John has been perfecting this 50’s type magic show for years. He won two stage awards for this in 2004 and 2005. 2004: Winner of the Best Adult Stage Act at the Magicians Alliance of Eastern States. 2005: Winner of the Best Adult Stage Act for the second straight year.
Mr.John Alexander is a member of the IBM (International Brotherhood of Magicians) and the S.A.M. (Society of American Magicians).
